copy draft replace component

Hi All,

I'm using master model draft-component configuration native.

I was thinking to make a copy of a draft file and then replace the component.
I was hoping to get a draft with the same views with broken dimensions.

Instead I got a blank page

What is the best way to copy a draft and replace the component and get a draft with the same views...?
