Copying dimensioned views in a drawing

Is there any way to do this? I've dried and I can only make a new set of views and add dimensions in.

One thought I just had was making a few in context sketches in the assembly and then automatically inserting model items into the views.

The best thing I can think of would be to have a dimensioned set of views in a drawing, copy the dimensions to a table. Copy the views, change the configuration and generate a new row for the table, repeat for 4 more rows.

I realized this is the inverse of a design table, but I don't think that will work for me because I'm making a drawing of pump assemblies using different motors.

Interestingly enough, there's no special "Copy view" function, but copying views is as simple as Ctrl-C/Ctrl-V for me... Have you tried that?

I always get the error 'The item on the cliboard cannot be pasted here'. For a parametric part decided to copy the an entire dimensioned sheet and then change the configuration and notes on the new sheet.
