I have a handful of questions I haven't been able to find answers for and my understanding of the etiquette here is that they ought to each be posted independently. If that's not true, please let me know and I'll try consolidating things into a single thread.
I have a number of sub-assemblies that are common to a line of products. I have, for each sub-assembly, a drawing describing its assembly or manufacture as necessary.
I'm now creating assembly drawings -- for the folks on the floor who'll be putting the things together -- and each requires a complete drawing package including each sub-assembly drawing. The folks in charge have expressed that they want the Solidworks drawing file (the .SLDDRW) for each product to include all of the documentation necessary for its assembly -- so opening each of the sub-assemblies individually isn't an option.
Is there some way that I can copy entire sheets from the sub-assembly drawing SLDDRW files and paste them into the main assembly's SLDDRW file?
Thanks -- and please let me know if I've explained this poorly or made it more confusing than it really is. I'm pretty good at both of those things.
