Hi Everyone,
There is a tip that I was tought at the last CATIA users
meeting. This has to do with moving files around in CATIA V5
Open the drawing file that you want to copy, Then under file, Send_to > directory. This will open a new widow.
In that widow you will see your CatDrawing and your CatPart.
Select to down arrow wich will copy your files. In the Lower right hand cornner you will see a "browse" button then
you select the files you want to copy. If you high light the file that you are copying you can rename the file before copying it in to the folder yoou are sending it to. For example if you want to change to rev level. on both the catpart and the catdrawing. This will keep from loosing your links. There are number of ways you can use this to your advantage if you are a detailer.
