Copying views and drawing links??

I used the "replace component" command inside a catproduct and saved the catpart under the correct path. Then I copied the views from the old drawing but when I try to modify links of the views I get "3d document not loaded....". I need the drawing to be linked to the catpart and not the whole assembly. Whatever I do the drawing continues to be linked back to the old path.

Any advice??
