Tuning an injected methanol motor - what EGT should I be looking for? One of the dyno sheets that came with an earlier motor was in the 1100 deg F range - we hit 1400 F peak at the track and I'm concerned about melt down....

since the EGT is dependent upon the Compression Ratio and
the amount of Torque ,,,and CID engine size

could you post the actual measured CR and Peak Torque
and the engine size CID figures , then i could calculate
a baseline EGT

the 1100 deg F doesn't sound too far away ??
