dear all
I have a gdr which has undrained stiffness Euv=500cu
and drained stiffness Ev=300cu

and likewise for horizontal stiffness
Euh=1000cu
Eh' = 750 cu

i dont have any Eoed values for use in geo 5 modules - is there any correlation between the two?
this is for london clay btw.

thank you

A drained stiffness of 300Cu is ambitious for London Clay. Typically 130 x Cu is adopted. Refer to C790 for embedded retaining wall design. That has recommendations for stiffness

London Clay must be just about the most tested in the world, surely you can find an article with a correlation?

unfortunately i havent -any thoughts?

The oedometric Young's modulus (Eoed) is just the constrained modulus (M). Supposing you want an elastic modulus (which I presume is the case given the large coefficients others have pointed out), and it is for a homogenous isotropic material, you derive M from your other stiffnesses using Poisson's ratio.
