Correlation between dynamic modulus of deformation on soil & modulus of subgrade reaction

I have been looking for some time now if there is some kind of correlation between dynamic modulus of deformation on soil (Evd) & modulus of subgrade reaction (K).

I am designing mostly residential buildings up to 3 storeys. Most of the time there is a thick layer of gravel (50-100 cm) compacted under a mat foundation. Contractor needs a value of Evd, so they can field test the compaction with Light Drop Weigth tester. I admit that I provide values based on experience and standard practice. I think that my numbers are conservative as it's sometimes hard to achieve high values (Evd > 40 MN/m2).

Are there any recommended values of Evd for buildings? I know of values for roads but not buildings.

When I have a thick layer of compacted gravel under a mat foundation, I think that design of mat foundation depends most on compaction and not the soil beneath it (if we presume "non-problematic soils"). Most of the time geotechical engineer provides me with the value of K based on soil beneath the compacted layer.

I hope you can help me with what I am after.

Kind regards
