US
We order from Europe electrical equipment that complies with the following EU standards:
EMC Directive EN61326-1:2013
Low Voltage Directive EN61010-1:2010
Machinery Directive EN ISO 12100:2010
RoHS Directive EN50581:2012
CE Marking

The end user in USA specifically requires that the equipment shall comply with applicable NFPA/NEC/OSHA safety regulations.

Our question: is there a correlation between the above EU and US standards? Can we claim that EU standards listed above are sufficient to meet US safety requirements?

In general, no.

Even with the general principles of machinery safety being similar, there are enough detail differences between the EU and North American standards that there is generally no alternative but to have someone evaluate compliance specifically to the applicable North American standard.

Yes, it's frustrating.
