Please guide me with some general practice. Thanks in advance.

How to select and decide the type of coupon from Flushed disc/Projected disc/Strip/rod for a particular service?
How to decide if Only probe or Coupon+probe need to be specified?

There is no "general practice" because selection is driven both by the objectives of the monitoring and the system being monitored. There are many books and papers on the subject. Try starting at the NACE Store with a search on 'corrosion monitoring.'
