Does anyone know how 301 Hi-Yield Stainless stacks up against 301 Full Hard Stainless in corrosion resistance? No specific environment. Just a general rule of thumb question. Hi-Yield is basically an extra cold worked version of Full Hard. Higher yield and tensile strength, but the same chemical structure. I should think that the cold working would make the high yield more susceptible to corrosion, but I cannot find any direct literature.
Thanks in advance
