I have various parts of a downhole tool that are made from Beryllium Copper primarily used for strength. The problem is in high H2S or acidic environments that the material corrodes and wastes away. I want stick with BeCu, does anyone have any experience of coatings that may work; electroless nickel was mentioned but I also understand that adhesion is can be a problem, thanks for any good ideas!
