Dear All,
Based on the standards, it is recommended to design jacket with drain holes for insulated piping system. But i'm not sure if this is already been implemented or not as I have never been to a plant before and don't have any experience in inspection.
So is there someone out there has any experience or/and would like to share about this?
The reason I would like to know about this because, from my findings, corrosion rate of CUI system acts like a closed system, but with a small (6-15mm) of drain holes I think it is an open system.
