I am getting conflicting data regarding the corrosivity of copper in the presence of anhydrous ammonia at low temperatures (30C or less). My source is Dekker's Corrosion/Resistance Tables, and they contain contradictory data. Any ideas for another source?

Thanks.

Copper and copper alloys have problem with ammonia due to the possibility of SCC but if it's anhydrous ammonia there are no problem
If you need reference you can look on Cor-Sur of NACE on KNOVEL website.
For Copper in contact with 100% ammonia at temperature in the range 25 – 500 F, the corrosion rate is <2 mpy.

You can also look in:

there is a free database for copper and copper alloys, and you can find data for ammonia.

Hope this help
