I'm looking for design information for corrugated steel water tanks subject to wind, snow, and seismic loads. I have been asked to do some work for a tank manufacturer. These have a bolted corrugated steel wall, no bottom, and a plastic liner. Size say 14m dia and 2.4m high. These are common as farm tanks.

I am familiar with API 650 and AWWA D100 but these don't cover corrugated steel.

Do you know of any information relevant to corrugated steel?

You could have a look at AS 2304, covering water storage tanks for fire protection systems. These are typically bolted corrugated tanks.

Your approach should be a hybrid approach.

Regarding bolted joint design apply the AISC code .

For seismic , wind design you may look API 650 or AWWA and ASCE 7-16 ( 15.7 TANKS AND VESSELS ).

For a specific case, if you provide dia, height, roof type ( or open top ),and content you may get specific responds.

Thanks BJI, that looks like what I need.
