I have just loaded 2004 when I draw a Shaded cosmetic thread
it is there but will not show the shaded thread.
I have clicked Tools, Options, Document Properties, Annotations Display. Under Display filter, and selected Shaded cosmetic threads.
I received a file from another user with the cosmic thread showing on his computer, but it still fails to shown on mine.
Any idears would be very much appreciated.

Thanks in advancs Jimp

It might be a graphics card issue, what are you running?

Don't forget when changing the video card settings, go to the video card preferences, advanced, and change the settings to use with SolidWorks.

True, but always good idea to check.
We just got some new pc's, SolidWorks started crashing. I checked the video card and changed the setting to use with SW. So far has fixed the problem. The IS dept does not understand, I just do it (learned it from SW web site).

jimp178,

You could also try the 'Use software OpenGL' option in SWX.
Note: you cannot have any documents open to change this option.

this mean that your card have ogl hardware acceleration issues. You must note that, using softwre ogl, the graphic performance will be low!
