This is for a small mid-west project involving a wall 12 feet high, about 100 feet long, with minor excavation for base.

I need a cost estimate for a government sponsored job Davis-Bacon rates. Currently am considering this adds about 60 percent to local wage rates.

Rock locally runs on the order of $15 per yard delivered

Sand fill is not in this cost. Only the wall part is to be estimated.

Any info on "cost per basket" or similar would be helpful. Current design uses 187 baskets as 3 x 3 ft. cubes, as a starter for cost purposes.

oldestguy,

Call the local Maccaferri office. They will be able to provide complete costing for your project. They will be able to provide cost per unit volume, price per basket, productivity rates, etc.
