this is difficult to answer with the information provided...

need to answer some of the following questions:

what type of rock? how competent is it? is it jointed, foliated or decomposed? is it rippable? has a geologist surveyed the site? what is to be done with the rock once it is cut? will it be hauled away (how far), disposed of in landfill or sold, processed and used on site? will blasting be allowed? can large equipment be used? is the excavation surface horizontal or vertical?

Malapai, solid rock. Jointed, not able to cut very well.
D9 allowed, blasting allowed, geoligist has surveyed site...bores were inaccurate to depict rock surface (needed
more boring or test pits, but we are at the construction
stage)...hauled and used on site, excavation is horizontal.
im just looking for a general estimate based on cutting
through solid rock.
