We have a plethora of small steel weldments, ie:
knee braces, usually 3x 3x 3/8 x 4 foot overhang
Short pipe stands with end 1/4" plates, 4'WF usually 4 ft high
6 ft sq low level platform step-ups about 21" high

All are C.S. and primed / gray spray epoxy

Need is to rough cost for domestic fabrication based on poundage

What would be the current cost per pound out of a local fab shop?

Same question if all were hot dipped galvanized?

Shopper,

I have bought steel here in the U.S. in the past year for the following prices:

GALVENIZED C.S.:
700lb @ 2.11$/lb
725lb @ 2.2$/lb
13500lb @ 1.5$/lb
44500lb @ 1.34$/lb

Non-Galvenized C.S.:
590lb @ 1.61$/lb

I notice you post was a few weeks ago so you may have already purchased, if so, I would like to hear your prices...
