I've been working on a part for weeks without any problems and suddenly I'm unable to open it, getting this error:

Modeler error: value is not as expected

In the log I see:

PK function PK_ATTRIB_set_doubles failed, ifail PK_ERROR_bad_value (39), severity Mild
*** EXCEPTION: Error code 820039 in line 1844 of o:\ugnx90\ip19\src\dman\no\ind\ki_errors.c
+++ PK ifail 39 from PK_ATTRIB_set_doubles

Ug_inspect-scan says "Found no known corruptions". Does "value is not as expected" tell me anything or have I lost the part completely?

Using NX9 on win7 64.

Hi ,
There are chances that this may be a corrupt file (however as Cowski said GTAC needs to look into it.They only can tell what the real issue is).
But have you tried opening it up on some other system also? Were you accessing this part file from some remote location through network? I am not sure but it looks like you are working on Native NX only (no TC?).
Thanks and Best Regards

Reboot your computer.
Copy the file to a local disk.
Run ug_inspect on the file.
If it does open, run Part Cleanup.
Call GTAC.

I am accessing the part from the local disk without teamcenter. Like I said, ug_inspect shows no problems.

I've worked out what triggers the problem, and it is reproducible. If I create an extract geometry -> body of a few complex sheet bodies inside the part, then save the part, close and then try to open, the error occurs.

Hi xdc256,
Although you have yourself figured out the reason behind it but you can try running an examine geometry check on the sheets causing issues while extracting.
Best Regards

Examine geometry shows no issues. There is no problem when extracting, the issue is that subsequently saving the part corrupts the file. While I've now seen it happen on multiple different sheet bodies, for one of them there was a single clean surface produced from a face blend that somehow produced the error.

Since you can reproduce this problem on demand, then you should DEFINITELY contact GTAC and have them open an IR/PR!

Try the Export - heal geometry since it seems connected to the geometry, - And sent the part to Gtac, things like this should not happen.
