Count chacters in parameter 1

I want to count the characters within a string parameter. Which formula can do that?

I tried Lenght(string parameter)

I don't want to make it from a macro

The approach is correct but it has a rather weird syntax:

String.1 ->Length()

where String.1 is your string parameter.
