Hello together,
I recently started with coupled thermo-mechanical simulations on my job. I am currently working on a simulation regarding a laser-based solid freeform fabrication process with steel and now I am facing a problem concerning the input file of Abaqus:
In the thermal simulation, among others, the martensitic content is calculated and outputted as a solition dependent state variable. Now I want to use this variable in the following mechanical simulation. But I failed in transfering the relevant STATEV in my model, because it is not working like in case of the temperature, as initial conditions in the input file.
Is there a way to handle the transfer of STATEV's in Abaqus from one simulation to another (from the .odb-file to the other simulation)?
I couldn't find anything in the user manuals or other sources. Every idea might help!
Greetings, Flo
