Hi, is it possible to do a kinematic coupling constraint from a reference point to a point (which is not a node) on an edge of a geometry?

Make a partition to create a geometric point on the edge (if necessary) and then you can select that point within the coupling. You just have to choose "Node Region" when /CAE asks you what kind of geometry you want to couple. Afterwards you can select that geometric point or any other point, edge or face.
