Hi
I am trying to understand a paper on the evaporation of water from bare soil. They have graphs of net radiation on the earth surface, latent heat of evaporation and soil heat flux. Below this is a graph comparing A Pan evaporation to Energy Balance evapotranspiration in cumulative mm of water lost.
My question is how do you get from Latent Heat of Evaporation to mm of water lost?
The total latent heat of evaporation over the day is 11.32MJ/m^2.
Regards
