Hello guys

I'd like to ask if there is any different between the expressions over-protection and over-potential for pipeline in Cp system.
And if -1.6 to -2.2 voltage range consider to copper/copper sulphate is over-protected for cast iron pipeline? And why the over-potential for steel pipeline sometimes be established.

Protection potential is normally considered as a range of values. -1.6 to -2.2 V wrt copper/copper sulphate is beyond the normally accepted protection potential range.
