Hi,
I am going to investigate the crack initiation and propagation transversely of fibrous composite in ANSYS. A quarter RVE with fibre and matrix is modelled and defined the cohesive element properties are defined by using command below:
tb,czm,3,,,expo
tbdata,1,tnmax,gmax,1000
After that, I have merge the layer between two elements. However, I am unable to mesh the cohesive zone layer with command below:
czmesh,,,1,x,0
An error was popped out "No cohesive has been created..." . I can't figure out any problem of it.
Can anyone tell me what is my problem or someone can give me alternative way to investigate the crack initiation and propagation of fibrous composite transversely.
