Hello,

I am doing a thermomechanical analysis of concrete at early ages and for this I have to make both the fracture energy and tensile strength of the concrete vary in function of time. For this I am using the Abaqus model Cracking Model for Concrete type: GFI and here I introduce the pairs of values failure stress / fracture energy. Furthermore I introduce a variable field to add the dependency over time.

The question I have are the values that I have to enter in the sub-options Brittle Shear / Brittle failure. I've come to the Abaqus documentation but I still have doubts about the values that I have to enter.

If anyone has used this model and could help me I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you very much.
