I have a basic Classic ANSYS problem:

I am trying to model a crankshaft supported by two bearings that is subjected to both bending and torsion. This is a static structural problem. What's the easiest way to ensure that the bearings constrain only translation and not rotation?

I tried to use revolute joint, but it didn't work

I am planning on making seperate volumes for the bearings and use contact elements, but it seems too complex.

Thanks

nevermind, I figured it out
I just had to change the constrained nodes to polar coordinates so that I can specify the constraint in the radial and Z directions
