Hello.

Has any body had any problems with the new design library.

We have a parts library we access over a network.
This parts libray is in the design library.
Sometimes when dragging parts from this into an assembly, the BSOD has appeared and I have lost work and time.

Is this an issue with my P4 1.8, VP 880 Pro with all specified drivers, 1Gb ram PC? Is it because of the network? Or is it an issue with something else? SP1.0???

Any thoughts or solutions much appriciated like always.

PS: Chopper is great.

If your getting a BSOD then, you problem is not with SW but rather with your OS or a driver. The BSOD should give some information on what caused the BSOD to happen.

What OS?
To rule out the network move the files locally and test that through DL.

The next time you get the BSOD, record the the hex addresses (?) ... OxOOOOOOOO. Then "google" for the complete string of those codes. This usually leads to what is causing the problem .

OS xp pro.

It does say it is a driver issue. Have changed a few. Could the moniter settings be a cause. I have two of them. One is big and one is small. Have tried to set them as per an article I saw, that didnt work though because one sceen is to small. Will plug the codes into google and see what it says.

Thanks guys.

As above.

Wildcat VP 880 Pro, with the driver speced on the SW website. The open GL setting for dual monitors cant be set due to one screen being to small to have the same resolution on the big screen, which is what the article says to do. I think it was one of Mike Wilsons articles.

Could the dual screen settings be a problem with this card?

Have you, or can you, try with only one monitor to see if you still get the problem?

[cheers] & all the best.
