I'm having issues with linear patterns on my system. When I slect a solid to LP I get a dialogue box that states.

"The specified procedure could not be found.", and then,

"Could not load Solidworks DLL: sldpatternu.dll", and then crash to the desktop.

Easy answer, "Your SW install is corrupt." Well sure, but has anyone witnessed this before? I believe my linear pattern was working fine a couple of weeks ago. I tried a simple part on my colleagues computer with no issues. Saved that same part to the network, and tried it on my system. Result -> CRASH.

Does the file exist on your machine? If you're lucky, all you'll need to do is find sldpatternu.dll on your colleague's machine and copy it to the same location relative to your sw install.

A star for you handleman, usually it's the simple solutions that do the trick.

Also, you should post when creating new FAQs. Not many people search for browse the FAQ pages.
