I've used inventor quite a bit, and am able to create what I believe is called an offset hem, basically bumping out 2 flanges, but only bumps out the thickness of your sheet, so that one sheet can overlap another.

Is this possible in SE? I saw under the hem properties I can change the hem type to "open" which gives me the spacing I want, but I want it to essentially flip around the other direction instead of curling over. I hope this makes sense.

In the attached photo, I'm trying to get the "countersunk lap seam"

Looks like I figured out my own question. I used a "jog" with a distance of .001 that should work, but if anyone has any other suggestions I'd be happy to hear them for future reference as well.
