I everyone.

I'm trying to create a catalog from a PowerCopy. My final aim of this, is to create a icon, that every time I press it the PowerCopy will instantiate.

I've followed the steps of this video, but in the end when I press the new created button, nothing happens.

Any idea?

I everyone.

I have been working on this. And maybe I found a solution!

But after so many trials, I've created a lot of garbage. And I don't now where to clean it!

first i was a bit bit confused by create a catalog from Power Copy

in fact you create a power copy
store it in a catalog (in video at 1:56)
create a command from a catalog object using the publish (in video at 2:53)

the list of "command from catalog" in the customized window is stored in the CATSettings... delete the appropriate CATSetting and in your new session, the list will be empty.

open catia,
add a command from the catalog,
verify the command is in the customized list
close catia

check date of catsettings modification... this will help you find which one is the one you looking for.

now delete one of those recent file
and go in customize to see impact...
close catia

repeat until you got it

please come back here and share the info with us
