I have some 2d geometry that I need to import to Abaqus. I generate my simulated structure using a Matlab script. This gives me points that define each geometric shape (circles, rectangles, and triangles). Currently I import these points into NX and export the defining lines as a step file.

Is it possible to directly import the 2D set of points into Abaqus and define the geometries?
