Hi -

Does anybody know if it will be possible to create a packagefile stored inside a dataset , from a teamcenter client.
Afterwards it should be possible to download this *.pcf file to OS system , and fire it up in ExpresReview...

hi -

Yeahh - what I mean is , that when the *.pcf is downloaded from teamcenter , it should could open in the standalone application "ExpresReview"...

In NX native - it's possible to export a drawing and assembly via command "send to package file" - afterwards this command will launch ExpresReview and open the exported *.pcf file...
But in NX managed mode - this command does not work proper - and my question is - that maybe it will be possible to simply generate a *.pcf file from inside teamcenter, and maybe it also could be stored inside a dataset....
But I don't know if teamcenter (v10) - support this *.pcf file functionality....
also see attached pic - I found some information on internet - teamcenter Express and *.PCF files....

Ah!

Sorry I can't help because I haven't that tool.
(we have Tc8 and nxmanager semi combined)

Thank you for the explanation.

H,
Sorry for the delay.

I don't find Xpresreview integration for rich client with a standard teamcenter installation.

I found it with a Rapid Start Installation. I will install it and let you informed
