Can anyone help?

Despite trawling through the Layout Wizard and Help/Tutorials, i still cannot understand how to create a layout that has drawing frames, title boxes, company logo's included in it.

It can't be that hard, am i missing some AutoCAD specific terminology for such a standard requirement ?

Someonr help and get me off the ground !!

Yours frustratedly

I think what you want is to go to the Layout that you want. Insert the title block and/or border that you want at 1:1 scale (usually at 0,0). After this, you will want to create Viewports of your drawing (model space entities)in your Layout.

You can make any drawing a template. Just SaveAs and make the filetype Template.

There are some generic title and blocks that can be found thru the Startup dialog box. They are rarely used because schools and corporations have their own drawing standards. Standards are guildlines for operating procedures, drawing techniques, and record keeping. It is important that standareds exist and are used by all CAD personnel. Hope this helps - John
