Solidworks 2005

would like to create a label with company logo and put it into model.

Have tried bringing Jpeg of rectangular logo in as an applied texture but can't get it to size and center the way I want - (do not want tiling effect)

Any way to do this.

Try coverting logo file from .jpeg to .dxf
Then insert the line art version .dxf onto title block.
I think you should be able to use Adobe product to perform conversion.

You can achieve this in PhotoWorks if you have the SW office package. In SW 2006 PhotoWorks decals also show in SW models. In SW 2005 displaying a photoworks decal in the SW model is not possible. You can apply an image to a face or plane in SW 2005. As long as the face is a flat surface this will work fine.

yes just use photoworks and decal wizard Ive used it for all of my projects.

You can also trace your logo within a sketch to convert to vector lines as BSMECAD suggested (without using any Adobe products). I've done this many times to achieve the logos and labels featured in the renderings on my web site.

SW 2006 also allows a new rendering feature called Label that will automatically wrap the label around multiple surfaces--an excellent feature to have.
