I have a "step" file that I opened in Pro E Wildfire 3.0 and it comes in as a neutral model. I there away to create and exact copy of and irregular surface, maybe by creating a quilt. I'm not real familar with creating quilts. Some guidance is need here.

Any and all help would greatly appreciated.

Thank you and Merry Christmas to All,

Danoo

Yes, there is a way.

You can select the surfaces (hold Ctrl for multiple surfaces) in your Import Feature and use Edit-->Copy then Edit-->Paste (or use the Ctrl-C --> Ctrl-V shortcuts).

This will make a new quilt feature that is a copy of your surfaces. You can then hide your import feature or but it on a layer to be blanked. You can't delete or suppress it, since your new feature depends on this import feature.

Wishing a safe and happy holiday to all!
