Has anyone tried making their own watermark in SW2008.
You know something that would go across the drawing that would say DRAFT or something. I print on a BW laser printer but everything seems to come out black. I haven't tried printing in grayscale yet.

I've done that before. We used Grayscale or maybe the line weight.

We had the Watermark on a layer called...you guessed it...Watermark. And the text was actually in the Title Block template. The releasing routine would turn off that layer and add the appropriate text/stamps/blocks/etc... Most of the users didn't even know that it was just a layer that they themselves could turn off and on, so we didn't have to worry about them printing off any un-approved drawings and trying to get parts made from them.

Under your line formats toolbar there is a "color mode" selection you could try toggling that giving it a color. It will effect the entire drawing mind you, but you can control the colors on those as well.
