Hey there,

I was wondering whether it was possible to change the value of my elastic modulus over the course of the simulation by making it dependent on stress or strain

Alternatively, is there a way to make the Poisson's ratio increase with stress/strain?

I'm running a flat punch compression test and we're missing a term and need to see whether we can trace it back to either of these guys

Thank you very much for your time,
Twaj

Since you want varying properties with strain you need to model as HyperElastic or provide some other nonlinearity like plasticity.

From stress/strain data try: In the property module > Create Material > Mechanical > HyperElastic > Input Source : Test Data

Conversely you can select a simple HyperElastic model like NeoHooke and optimize the material properties until you match your full product test data.

I hope this helps.
