Creating Bill of Material

Hi,

I have been creating large assemblies and always creating bill of material individually for each part.

Is there any quicker way in NX 8.5 top generate bill of material automatically through the assembly created.

The use of Bill of material to us is to generate the part name and also dimensions of the material required for the specific part.

You can use the partslist function to generate a regular partslist... - It will then automatically report things like part names. But it cannot report the material required for the specific part. I think there was a discussion on this forum where Cowski wrote a piece of code to report this a while ago.
