I'm using pro/E for an engineering design project, and I don't have access to pro/cable. I was wondering if there was a way to make a flexible steel cable , and if so what is the basic steps to doing so. And keeping that in mind, would it then be possible to show the cable motion through say a pulley?

Thanks in advance

HI
I did show a cable in a motion just using Datum curves. After designing the location of the cable route, I used a composite curve and then trimmed this curve to points located on the composite curve to give room for what ever attachment crimps your using. As my assembly swung up and down the composite curve would follow the first curve path to show movement oan distance from other assembly features that I needed. I know this is an abreviated explination of how I accomplished it.

Hope this help breed the need to experiment
Norb.
