CREATING GTOLS W/NOTEPAD 1

Greetings, recently I had to work with some customer supplied DXF files that contained GTOLs. Once imported these items all but disappeared and had to be created again. I used an Engineers supplied list of control characters for creating the control boxes. Example: [ caused a vertical line and another character created the vertical lines. There is a whole character set floating around out there somewhere and any help with this would be appreciated.
