I’m trying to create a plane using a plane and an axis, and then putting in a rotation angle. If I use any of the three standard planes there are no issues. If I create a plane at any angle off the original planes (plane_1), put an axis (axis_1) on the newly formed plane (plane_1) and then try to create a new plane at an angle using plane_1 and axis_1 the new plane is screwed from plane_1.
The explanation on the solidworks help guide is:
“If the selected line is skewed with respect to the selected plane, the selected line is projected onto the selected plane and then the plane rotates around the projected line.”
Ok, I’ve done everything to ensure that the line I’m referencing to create the plane at an angle is NOT skewed with respect to plane_1.
Any suggestions?
