Apperently my syntex is wrong then, what you recomand is just what I did.
When I input the values it gave me an error message "Point or option key required". What I want is @1460.6'<N89d43;56"W
Can you offer anything ferther?

There is a syntex error in my last post, should be
@1460.0'N89d43'56"W

Leave off the foot symbol, just @1460<n89d43'56"w
You can use the foot symbol if in architectural or engineering units.
