Hi,
I am using X19CrMoNbVN11-1 material in some of the pressure boundary bolts. The operating temperature is 560 deg C. This is very good creep resistant material. But for the stress levels that bolt is having the calculated creep rupture is at 40000 hours. How do I interpret this results. I calculated this as per EN 13445-3.

If I look into ASME Section II-D, mandatory appendix-I, it says the time dependent properties are based on minimum of stress requires to cause 1% creep plastic strain at 100,000 hours and average stress to cause rupture at the end of 100,000 hours. Does it mean I have to reduce the stress levels in bolts to make sure it will withstand 100,000 hours?
