Creo Parametric R 2.0 - Changing scroll wheel zoom direction 1

I recently started a new position at a company using Creo Parametric R 2.0. This is my first exposure to Creo Parametric or anything from PTC other than MathCAD; I have formerly used Solidworks and CATIA V5. Is there a way in Creo to change the direction the scroll wheel zooms in and out? I've asked around and no one around the office seems to know. I figured the Pro/E forum would be a good place to start. I'm posting this in the Creo Simulate forum as well since there isn't a forum for Creo Parametric yet. Thanks in advance!

Jeff,

You can Use CTRL+MMB held down (^MMB) and zoom that way it's actually more accurate. Or you can use the Orient Mode With CTRL held down.
Note: MMB = Middle Mouse Button

Dynamic and Velocity modes are good. For Mouse you may be able to find options in your driver software. I'm a fan of roll down to zoom in but If you come from autocad or like google maps online too bad I always reverse zoom in Google Earth so I think a lot of customers may like to have an opton.

Ask for PTC to add an option for this to config options such as.

Reverse_mouse_wheel_direction = *NO/YES

This is the Creo Parametric Forum.
They (eng-tips) are probably not and should not change the website location from /proe to /creo other forums have kept the original name in website path. Companies keep switching product names and it doesn't make sense to modify every page with new links.

I may have a solution for you which I will attach but if you can send me a screenshot of Creo with a Part open so I can get a more specific title match that would help. The file I'm attaching is a Rev A but the only catch is it will also reverse direction of your mousewheel in this browser unless you right click it in the tray and Choose Suspend Hotkeys.

I created the file using the AutoHotKey program which can be found at the not required but it never hurts. :)

If your Active Creo Window shows (Active) Creo Parametric I can improve the Executable I attached. It will reverse your mouse wheel direction to get what you want but the way I wrote it it also reverses the direction for this webpage because it detects "Creo Parametric" without the (Active) text which preceeds Creo Parametric in the CAD window you are using and not all windows with Creo Parametric in the title.

This can be modified for another self contained Exe if you'd like one. Give the one I previously attached a test and feel free to run as many Security Apps on it as you wish there is no unsafe code within it.

Cheers!
