Cross-Linking in Project Server 2003

I have 3 different files that are published on the server. Each file has some tasks that are cross-linked with the other two files (interdependencies). Each file is renamed and re-published every day.

How can I maintain these cross links without having to go through the linkage routine for every task everytime I rename and re-publish the files?

If you are using project server, why are you renaming the projects each day?
