Crosshatch in parent view does not show up in Detailed view

In NX 6, I just applied a manual crosshatch to a section of my part in a parent view. I expected that when I made a detailed view from this parent that the existing crosshatch would show up in the detail, but that is not the case. How do I get it to show up in the detailed view? Certainly I shouldn't have to apply a seperate crosshatch in that view.

Add on question. In the detail view, how do I include the circular view border to be one of my hatch boundaries?

Expand the parent view first before you apply the Crosshatching.

If you apply the Crosshatching to a view on the Drawing, the Crosshatch objects are actually added to the Drawing, not the view. You must be inside the view itself, which you are when you Expand it, before anything you create will actually be considered part of the view.

In the parent view, try expanding the view THEN creating the hatching. I believe only view dependent (in Drafting) and model dependent (in Modeling) geometry will be included when the detail view of the parent is created.

This should remedy both issues you brought up, unless there is a bug causing this.
