Hi,
Designing a heating unit to raise the temperature of #6 oil containing sodium & vanadium to about 265 deg F. Will carbon steel corrode under these conditions or should 304 stainless be used for the construction?

Thanks

For the temperature you said carbon steel will be good enough.
