Hello,
I am trying to perform a CTE mismatch analysis. I am trying to figure out which command to use to apply a higher temperature to the entire model (i.e. what happens when an oven and specimen reacha steady state temperature). I want to see the displacement caused by the temperature load. I saw that ANSYS has several different choices (bfe, bfunif,Tunif). Can anyone tell me which is the better choice for such an analysis?
Also, once I set a Temperature reference (using Tref), are inputed temperatures added to that temperature (i.e. I set Tref, 298 and then I want to place a temperature of 398 K do I use bfunif,temp,398 or bfunif,temp,100) ?
Thank you
